WALKING YOUR PATH,
HEARING YOUR TRUTH
Healing to Grow
MEET SIAN-CLAIRE
Believe - Heal - Grow
Hi, I’m Sian-Claire, a qualified Person-centred Counsellor who can provide online Counselling at a pace and in a place you feel comfortable. I also offer walking therapy where we can walk side-by-side and utilise the benefits of nature.
In today's society is easy to judge ourselves based on others demands and norms and neglect our values, needs and goals in order to fit in and feel accepted. But in doing that, we lose sight of our own uniqueness value.
In the way that I work, I listen without judgement, accept your experiences as you have experienced them and provide a space in which you can share your truth and be heard.
I won't tell you what to do but I can draw on a number of tools and approaches to support you with your goals.
When your experiences and feelings are hard to express in words, I am able to draw on other therapeutic approaches such as The Rewind Technique for processing Trauma, Grounding techniques for anxiety and panic, EFT and TFT tapping , Creative methods and Mindfulness to ensure that the therapeutic process meets your needs.
WHAT I OFFER
ONLINE COUNSELLING
Counselling in your own space,
at your own pace
For many, the journey to the counselling room can cause anxiety and can stop many accessing support when they need it.
I want everybody to feel comfortable gaining support and so I offer counselling via the online platform Zoom and by telephone, so you can access quality therapy from the safety of your own chosen private space.

WALKING THERAPY
“The journey of a thousand miles
begins with a single step” -Lao Tzu
Good therapy can go beyond the walls of a therapy room. The pace and speed of walking aligns with my view of therapy - the client sets the pace.
In walking therapy we can walk alongside each other in an outdoor space which enables nature to be brought into therapy to lend calm, inspire and support self-growth

FAQS
HOW DO I KNOW IF YOU ARE THE RIGHT THERAPIST FOR ME?
I offer a free 30 minute session via the secure platform Zoom where you can ask any questions and we can talk about what brings you to counselling. This helps you to see how it feels to talk to me and I can check that I am the right counsellor to support you with the issue that you bring - if not I can offer alternative therapist options.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
I charge £45.00 for a 50 minute online or telephone session.
Walking therapy is charged at £50.00 per session
Fees are payable by Bank transfer on the day of session, or before
HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED COUNSELLING?
HOW ARE YOUR SESSIONS STRUCTURED?
Do you need space where you can talk through all the thoughts in your head, without judgement or advice?
Do you have a problem you want to work through?
Do you need somewhere to be seen and heard?
Do you want to learn skills which can help you with self-care?
Then counselling can help!
Counselling is for everybody - you dont need a diagnosis or label
Each session is your own - you bring what you want to talk about. I will listen, reflect your words back to you, challenge with another perspective and offer tools and strategies that might be useful to you - you can choose what you take and what you ignore.
I will always give you a chance to reflect at the end of the session - what was useful and what could be more useful for you.
You will always leave a session feeling grounded, safe and ready to re-enter the world.
HOW DO YOU WORK CREATIVELY ONLINE?
My training allows me to offer counselling using creative methods such as sand tray, clay, cards and images amongst others. I make use of an online sand tray and can share PDF cards for remote working. I invite clients interested in using creative methods to have pens, paper, clay (or playdoh), and photos with them during sessions.
WHY WALKING THERAPY?
Walking whilst talking has been found to stimulate blood flow to the brain which helps you form new thoughts and ideas. The motion of walking expels energy which may have become trapped in your body from trauma. The act of being outside in nature is grounding in itself and can help regulate extreme emotions. You and the counsellor are side-by-side in a neutral space which can make talking feel easier than sitting opposite someone in their office.
